More About Me
  • I have spastic Cerebral palsy, which affects my motor skills. I can walk in the house with my walker. I mainly use my manual or electric wheelchair outside the house.
  • I am a animal lover. My parents & I have 4 dogs, 3 cats, & a parakeet.
  • I am very outgoing. I enjoy educating others about my disability.

Philosophy in Life:

What I do:
  • I do volunteer work at 2 different nursing homes (pet therapy/pet visits)

What I plan to do in the future:
  • I plan to get Master Degree in Social Work/Art Therapy.
  • I plan to one on one counseling with individuals with/without disabilities.

What I've Accomplished:
  • Earned my GED in 1990
  • Honored by Who's Who's American Junior Colleges in 1993
  • Made the Prestonsburg Community College Presidents List in 1994
  • Served as Prestonsburg Community College Homecoming Princess in 1994
  • Received the KDC - Kentucky Disability Coalition - Ability Award in 1994
  • Earned my Associate Degree in Art from Prestonsburg Community College in 1994
  • Honored by Kentucky House of Respresentatives for my "never quit attitude" in 1994
  • Earned my Bachelors Degree in Social Work from University of Kentucky in 1999
  • Developed a relationship with my boyfriend, Kevin Rudolph in 2001
